Hi Daniel,

The XML file you have attached would not even open in MS Project. Could you share with us a smaller file that would help diagnose this issue?

Thanks

Daniel,

One thing incompatible we noticed was that we weren't loading "exception days" from the project calendar. We are working on supporting that.

Once we do that, we will check if everything else is compatible and the file loads fine. Note that MS Project has a much bigger super set of features than what you see in our gantt, so the file should load fine as long as there are no features outside what we support.

Thanks

Questions to you:
  • Which features are not supported?
  • How long will it take to add the exceptions dates?
  • If you resolve the exception date issue will the project plan be the same in mpp and I radiantq or there are more issues?

Thanks

Daniel,

We will only know if and what else is not compatible after we add support for Project Schedule with Exceptions. This should be before the end of this week or early next.

We will keep you updated.

Daniel,

There is a bug in MS Project which causes an incorrect XML save of an MPP file. Let me send you a sample .mpp file (created from task 1.6.3.6 in the sample you provided) with a single task, which after saving as XML, and reopening in MSP, loads with wrong EndTimes!
